Need to remove keloids

I have keloids on chest n shoulder. Need to remove keloids from shoulder and chest permanently. Assist

Hello there...I can understand your concern. Presently the main treatment given for keloids is triamcinolone acetonide injections. It is given once in 3 weeks. This will help reduce the size of the keloid. Few centers even do lasers. But remember if you go for excision. Then there is chance for recurrence. Kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.

Hi.... There are several treatments available, but none have been shown to be more effective than others. Treatment can be difficult and isn't always successful. Treatments that may help flatten a keloid include: steroid injections.... Other options include freezing early keloids with liquid nitrogen to stop them growing, laser treatment to reduce redness – but this won't make the scar any smaller....surgery, sometimes followed by radiotherapy...
