Hello there...I can understand your concern. Presently the main treatment given for keloids is triamcinolone acetonide injections. It is given once in 3 weeks. This will help reduce the size of the keloid. Few centers even do lasers. But remember if you go for excision. Then there is chance for recurrence. Kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.

Other options include freezing early keloids with liquid nitrogen to stop them growing, laser treatment to reduce redness – but this won't make the scar any smaller....surgery, sometimes followed by radiotherapy...
