Need advice on food intake
I was suffering from frequent urination. Doctor advised to check urine for uti and blood sugar.
Urine report was normal. But blood sugar radom level was 240. So doctor asked to repeat sugar test .
Fasting 143
Post fast 190.
then doctor suggested Glycomet tablet.
I don't want to start medicine.
Please advise food precautions and home remedies to keep diabetes under control.
My age is 38. Please also tell ..
I have to go for fertility treatment will diabetes effect on that

1) The medicine that has been prescribed to u is a safe medicine. Diet alone may not work for long
2) You should observe strict contraception until your sugar levels are normalized. It's risky to conceive while sugars are high
3) Whenever you plan to conceive your sugars should be normal and you should not be on oral tablets. If needed the sugars need to be controlled with insulin. Other tablets may harm the baby.
