Neck sprain/ spasm

I was sitting in a bad posture yesterday and while getting up I had a spasm/ catch sort of feeling in my neck. I am not able to move my neck around as usual because of the spasm. Should a muscle relaxer like CipZox help? I have put warm water on my neck. Not getting much relief.

I feel you are right and you have something what we call acute neck strain and taking medicine like cipzox can have side effects without consulting a doctor so I will feel consult a local doctor and apply some volini gel lightly don't do any massage for today if no orthopaedic doctor is available today consult a general physician before taking any medication Take thin pillow while sleeping
