Pain in the neck and shoulder suggests that you might have tight cervical spine muscles. This could be because of posture or something new in your daily activity/ or sleeping posture. The tightness also leads to headache which is termed as cervicogenic headache ( blood supply reduces because of tight muscles which leads to headache). You need to visit a good physiotherapist who can release the tight muscles and help you strengthen the muscles that are weak ( for long term benefits), also suggest change in posture.
Next Steps
Visit a good physiotherapist.
