What is side effect of using fluticonasone furoate nasal spray for long time and is fluticonasone furoate nasal spray same as fluticonasone propionate and azelastine nasal spray and if not which one is better
Hi..
Long term Furoate use will not cause any problems as such, some may complain of nasal dryness n bleeding.. Usually we taper the dose of furoate after 1-3months if the patient is symptomatically better.. Furoate is more potent steroid than propionate, and azelastine is antihistamine, a separarte drug.. For more info contact your doctor..
The furoate salt of Fluticasone is better than the propionate salt so, each metered dose of the spray is almost half of that of the propionate spray.
