Usually we taper the dose of furoate after 1-3months if the patient is symptomatically better.. Furoate is more potent steroid than propionate, and azelastine is antihistamine, a separarte drug.. The furoate salt of Fluticasone is better than the propionate salt so, each metered dose of the spray is almost half of that of the propionate spray.
