My father has used corrective glasses for his near-sightedness for over thirty years, but now he says he can see perfectly without them (he does use reading glasses). He recently went to the doctor because of pain in his eye. The doctor said he probably had glaucoma but could not explain how he no longer needed glasses. So, is there any medical condition that can 'cure' (for lack of a better word) the myopia of a 53 year-old man?
