My child is 3 years of age and before 7-8 days only, she started stuttering which is getting worse day by day. As she started speaking when she was 2 and was very much clear & confident in the speech, sentences and words before but suddenly she started having problem in speech in a day or two only. Please guide me about the root cause of sudden behavioural change and what steps further required to be followed to help my child in communicating skils as it is a temporary situation or more..!

Developmental stuttering. This is the most common type of stuttering in children. It usually happens when a child is between ages 2 and 5. It may happen when a child’s speech and language development lags behind what she wants to say.A child is more likely to stutter if he or she has a family history of stuttering
Next Steps
Speak slowly to your child. This may help her to also speak slowly
Health Tips
Treatment will depend on your child’s symptoms and general health. Early treatment can prevent stuttering from continuing into adulthood

You should consult a Neuro physician in person for complete assessment and treatment. You should also check with your child whether she had undergone any trauma mentally because of something or someone.
