My baby while playing he took metformin tablet and started chewing but suddenly we noticed and removed from mouth but I think some percentage of tablet he swallowed please doctor can you tell me is there any problem

What is the age of the baby. What is the stregth of tablet. Are you sure he has inhested only one tablet. Check strip...and how many tablets are missing. It will cause low sugar and metabolic acidosis. It's better to show Pediatrician and keep for observation for 24 hrs.
