1st,stool result is normal
2nd, passage of hard stools is not a concern unless it causes local pain or bleeding or straining to pass stools
If stool consistency is hard, pellet-like from birth, then Pediatric consultation is a must.

in general, increasing fibre-content in feeds & water intake will help in making stools softer. Fiber rich foods are green leafy vegetables, carrots; fruits like apple, pear, banana, etc; cereals like oats, ragi, jowhar.
