Muscles strained during workout

I was doing body twisting and after that my upper back is paining. I usually do this exercise everyday. However, i am facing this issue for the 1st time.

Hello, You must have strained a muscle of back which has gone into spasm. You should 1. Rest for a day ( it usually tapers after24-48 hours) 2. Ice that area (10-12 mins/4-5 times /day)
