MULTIPLE CHOLELITHIASIS

My wife had pain in the abdomen and vomited. After taking USG ABDOMEN AND PELVIS report, MULTIPLE CHOLELITHIASIS (NO CHOLECYSTITIS) in Gall Bladder. Distended, no gb wall edema / inflammatory changes . multiple [8 to 10 ] tiny 5mm calculi in body of gb with biliary sand. Doctor suggested T. VDILIV 300 mg tablet for 5 weeks and told will check again after a year. Whether the stone will dissolve by taking tablets or need any laparoscopic required?

The stones wont dissolve now but by improving your dietary habits you can prevent from having further stones Stones being tiny ,There is high possibility of them slipping into the duct blocking it and causing cholecystitis
