My father's MRI report's impression states: 1.Focal gliosis at right medial temporal lobe 2.Mild cortical atrophy meaning What does it actually mean ? Please help me regarding this. I am attaching the report. If anyone helps me it would be really helpful . Thank you. Rimi.

1.Cortical atroph is age related brain changes, it's normally expected with old age. 2. Gliosis means brain cells in that part have been destroyed.
