My mother is 72 yr and had gallbladder removed in 1995.Also had stone in cbd and had jaundice that time.As she was feeling a bit nausiaticand indigestion she visited a gastroentologist who after scanning told she has 4 calculis in the cbd.Now has no jaundice but billurubin a bit high.Pls suggest what is to be done and how soon?Thanking you .

Your mom needs to undergo a procedure called ERCP through which the stones will be removed. But if the stones are big enough,  she may have to undergo surgery also

plz visit a good gastro enterologist as early as possible as the stones apart from causing jaundice may aldo cause pancreatitis ehich is a very bad complication
