My mom 52yrs old suffering from mitral valve regurgitation is told to undergo mitral valve replacement which they are not sure of success want to know about mitral clip and whr in india this treatment done.
Mitra clip is not commonly done in India. It has been done on demonstration basis only by foreign operators in India. if u are considering mitra clip for ur mom then better get it done abroad at a centre which has experience in this procedure

Pt.need to be reviewed by cardiologist few 2 D Echo parameters are to be known before drawing conclusion of Mitral valve replacement, mite clip is not meant for every kind of Mitral regurgitation. It is done in Medanta gurugram or care hospital hydrabad or Apolo chennai. Actually Heart team approach is needed to treat valvular disease pts.
