Missed periods with negative pregncy tst

Hi, I would like to know what is the reason for my delayed periods. Normally my cycle is around 31 days and now it's been almost ten days from my expected periods date. I tested for pregnancy with kit and got negative result. I don't have a history of missed period till now. Please Answer for my query. Thank you
