Missed period nd negative preganancytest

I missed my periods and it's been 10 days. I've done urine pregnancy test on 1 and 4 days after missed period but it's negative. I've no early pregnancy symptoms yet. My period was very regular and I follow healthy diet too. When can I test again to see if I'm pregnant? Did I miss my period because of hormonal imbalance? What's the best time to consult a doctor ?
