Miscarriage or delayed periods???

We were in a physical relationship on 23rd day of my menstrual cycle. My periods was delayed for 8 days. This means I was pregnant and get aborted on the 8th day?? Or my periods was delayed due to the sexual intercourse done by me on 23rd day of my cycle. Note: I have a simple cyst propabily in the left side of overy. Two months back I suffered from a miscarriage at a 15th day( from my 28 days cycle ) Next month we were not in relationship and the period was delayed for 5 days
