Minoxidil Induced ED

I am male in my mid 20s who had a healthy sex life. I had a hair transplant in February. Soon after that my dermatologist suggested More F5 solution(Topical 5% minoxidil + finasteride). After 17 days on that(Applying 10 drops once a day on the transplanted area), I started experiencing ED issues. I immediately discontinued the solution. After 15 days of discontinuation, I might have recovered to some extent but I am not sure. Then my dermatologist suggested minovera(Topical 5% minox without finasteride), I again experienced had issues with maintaining erections after just 2 days of use(same usage as morr F5). It's been 7 days now since I have discontinued minovera but I am still facing the issue of ED. I have read in some of the reviews that these side effects are still there for people who have discontinued minoxidil for three months. My dermatologist says it's temporary and it's all in my mind as the half life of minoxidil is 24 hours. I am definitely sure it isn't. Please help me.

Hello dear. While oral Finasteride is associated with loss of libido, that too occurs in 0.1 %  of patients. Minoxidil plus Finasteride solution will not cause ED. You should continue using the same for your hair Now coming to ED problem. As your doctor has already told you, it's all possibly in your head.
