How long can I wait before taking injection after being bitten by a dog ? How many injections are needed and over how many days ? I'm presently out of station, thus unable to tend to it immediately. Any extra precautions needed ?

If its a vaccinated dog, atleast 3 doses post exposure. However, you can consult me online regarding further steps.
