Mild pain killers for Rheumatoid Arthrit

I am using medication for Rheumatoid Arthritis for the past 3 years. I have inconsistent, slight pains even now. I am going for a trip(adventure activities). Want a mild pain killer with no side effects that will help me to participate in the activities. Don't want the knee pains or ankle pains to stop me.
