Mild epididymitis

Respectful Sir/Madam, While playing, my 3 years old son unknowingly punched the scrotum which caused pain for 2 weeks and then subsided. Later, after 2 months again the same pain was noted but not acute. Later, went to urologist and took an ultrasound of scrotum, which showed as mild epididymitis. Is this a cause of concern or is this a major issue? Later, the respective urologist told that nothing to worry about the issue. Kindly tell that is there anything to panic? There is no redness or swelling or any other issue at the said part but a little pain while standing for long time. Does this issue leads to any serious problem in future? Pls intimate the same sir. Thanking you,
