My son is 3 .5 yrs old. He has been diagnosed with mild autism .He is doing his therapy as per suggested .He has been prescribed pyschobiotics Lactobrain .Is it ok to give him the same ??Also for his diet can he take Nangrow?

Please give good diet rich in iron and reduce screen time. He can take Lactobrain and Nangrow. .

Lactobrain may not be very useful...but is harmless so it's ok to give.Therapy is the cornerstone of the problem.There are no dietary restrictions.

Lactobrain-- I have not used this medicine before so not sure, if it is a psychobiotic as you are referring, that should be fine. I will suggest to clarify this from the prescribing doctor. We suggest to avoid any supplements like Nangrow. Best is to give homemade food. There are IAP parental guidelines on how to feed preschool children. Please go through it. It is freely available in Google search
