I see my father being very angry, taking impulsive decision, mood swings, looking depressed and always keeps to himself and not involve in much family affairs. He is 54. He was in a very senior position and then he quit his job in an impulse. It has been a year, he hasn't found another suitable job. His worries amd anxiety is affecting his marriage and also the family life. I can see all his anxieties are bottlesld up and he doesn't share it with anyone. Please suggest how can i help him? Will going to counselling help?

Yes,  some counseling might help him to understand himself and his future. Help him to visit a psychologist in your city personally.
