Mental health and eye vision.

My mom is not mentally stable and healthy .she had cateracts,now she could hardly see . She is not willing to go for operation .Even we asked a eye specialist and narrated everything to him about her condition ,he told us that if she agreed then only bring her for operation or else not.We tried our best .Is there any solutions you can provide?

Hello If nothing is working, then get it done under sedation or general anaesthesia Usually cataract surgery is done under topical or local anaesthesia but if nothing is working then sedation or GA can be given a thought

Unfortunately the only treatment for cataract is surgery. No doctor does a surgery without consent .. please explain her and try to convince her

Now the procedure is so simple that you ask her to get examined at least. And the surgeon will operate in the meantime. I have operated  many such cases.
