Menopause issues

This is for my mother who completed 54 years and still gets her period every month between 25-35 days... She doesn't have any discomfort and bleeding last for just 1 and half days... Since four years she has fibroids which have not shrunk yet and she gets its scanned every year and as such gynic says no issues... But how long more will she have her periods... She is otherwise active and healthy... Are these fibroids and bleeding every month a cause if concern as most women have menopause by this age

Just as each woman starts menstruating at a different age, menopause comes at a different age for each woman. Late menopause can happen in women having fibroids.
Next Steps
She can have regular mammogram, pap smear and gyne exam done.
