Menisectomy failure

I had menisetomy one year back,but yesterday I had another MRI in  that meniscus tear occurs again.is that possible to failure the meniscus surgery.i have fear now to go for another surgery whether it will success or not..kindly give me a advise

I think in the first time you had partial menisectomy. Means. They will remove only damaged part of the meniscus. That is the standard survey. There is a possibility of the tear in the remaining meniscus. If you are having problems. Then you may needs another surgery. If the knee problems are not much you can wait and watch
