I was put on fentaynal patches 12mcg/h for 72 hours only kept it on for five did not like it and want to go back to my old pain medication did a lot of the fentaynal get into my system
Patches are excellent way of delivering drugs into the system ..reducing a lot of side effects like GI etc.
Patches usually release drugs at a very controlled and slower rate to maintain a certain level.
But I would like to know why are you on pain medications and how severe is the pain, like on a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being most severe.
And what investigations were done.
