Macula region of Retina

My grandfather has been diagnosed with blood vessels leakage in the macula region of Retina (left eye). Reports attached along with Doctor prescription. Doctor in my area has scanned the eye and identified the problem. As per his recommendation, he has to take the injection, which is a day care treatment and does not require hospitalization. Does the one time injection works or does it need to be recurring injections in these cases? Please also guide if injection is not required and this can be recovered with medication. Any suggestions what's the cost of such treatment including injection?

Hi, Yes he  needs injection in the eye. He may need 2-3 injections at monthly  injection,  depending on clinical improvement. Cost of injection varies on the type of anti vegf you choose.
