Lungs Issue

Hi just want to ask about the x ray result I got last week it shows fibrolinear opacity on my right lung then the conclusion is fibrosis anyway I was diagnose 12yrs ago for tb..and would like to know if this kind of result still a sign of a an active TB that can infect other people?

If you are having cough lasting for more than 3 weeks, inspitd of adequate treatment, please do Sputum smear for AFB bacilli and consult a pulmonologist. Depending on the reports and your symptoms, he/ she can guide you if you are still infective or not.

Looks more like old tb. But to be sure get a hrct chest and sputum afb done
