Lumps in tonsil area 11 years after tons

I have lumps in left side of tonsil area but I had a tonsillectomy when I was 12. I have been having a shooting left ear pain that comes and goes. I also have acid reflux and allergies. I am scared that these lumps are cancer. I am 23 years old and smoked off and on as a teenager.
