Lump on retromolar pad

Sir, I have small pea size lump at retromolar pad from 3 months then I have been checked it by oncologist then he said that it is granularity and it will go away in 2 months but 2 months has passed but it is remain there with no change.sir my question is what is granularity ,will it heal or is it something related to cancer

Any swelling which is persistent for more than two months warrants further investigation such as biopsy. Granular lesion usually occur in the retro molar region secondary to chronic irritation sometime even from impacted teeth
