My mother is suffering from a lump in back from 2013. She never informed us But today she told me...She is feeling a small pain of that areas. I seen it & going to consult with doctor. But before of that kindly see the pic of attached for your ready reference & suggest me what should I do.

It's a furuncle also called as a boil. It will require antibiotic ointment and oral antibiotic for 5days . Also it may need pus drainage which will help in early healing. It is nothing to worry to about. Will be cured in 5-7 days.

It appears to be an abscess, I would advise you to visit a general surgeon so that it can be evaluated and treated accordingly. She may require antibiotics, antacid and GM dressing. She may require incision and drainage.
