Lump behind the left testis

I've got a lump behind my testicle. It's not always felt but there is sudden onset of lump and it reduces after taking rest for a while but the spermatic cord feels thickened normally.the pump is associated with pain

It may be hernia.get clinical physical examination done by a general surgeon to make a diagnosis.high resolution ultrasonography of the bilateral testicular region and adenexa may also help to make a diagnosis
