At first it was paining when I used to bend over alot - striking pains, but now I feel a ball kind of thing in my lower left back near the hip, it causes a discomfort every time I sit or when I'm walking, this has been around for more than two weeks.

Show to an orthopaedic or physiotherapist . Also start doing strengthening exercises for back.
