Lower back pain in early pregnancy

Had lower back pain( felt like period cramp) and body ache while waking up in the morning. It went away later in the day and no bleeding. Feeling it since last 2 3 days. I am 40 days pregnant from LMP. Tested positive on day 33. Is it normal to have back cramps at this stage of pregnancy? My first usg is scheduled on 23rd nov
