Hi, I am 25 year old unmarried female. I am having heavy bleeding, my doctor suggested me lower abdomen ultrasound. Is it internal or external scan? What are the preperation needed for same.

If you are virgin it has to be an external scan drink plenty of fluid your bladder should be full before transabdominal scan
