I would advice you to avoid lifting weights till things settle down completely. It is quite possible that you have damaged a disc while doing the squats. Take painkillers, stay active but avoid stressing your back. If your symptoms do not get better or start to improve in 3-4 weeks time, then you will need to see an Orthopaedic spine surgeon for assessment and investigations as needed.
