Not starting complementary feeding properly can be one of the reason. You should introduce food in a step wise manner. Also at this age one or 2 bowls of semi-solid food is okay.
Also milk. If child is breastfeeding than it is all right. But if the child is on top feed (dairy milk or formula milk) and if it is given with a bottle than it can be the problem.
Rarely, it can be viral and loose motions in that can continue for 5 to 7 days.
