My two month old son has loose stool past from 2-3 days.My paed has suggested warzinc 1.5 ml two times a days for 10 days.Will it hv any side effect or how long will it take for recovery.I am worried. Along with it we are giving Zincovit and ultra D3 supplements. Thanks

It must be viral diarrhea.  It may go on for upto a week.  Give plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration and weakness. Keep a watch on the urine output If your baby has received Rotavirus vaccine,  u need not worry. U can continue giving the supplements along with the zinc
