Loose motions
My is almost 6 months since from 1 week passing 5 to 6 mucusy stool with white chunks 3 days back doctor prescribed probiotics and metronidazole and norfloxacin but still he is passing the same but he is active please tell me is this normal and he is completely on formula milk
Hey ... I understand your concern . U see most of the loose motions at this age is due to viral infections and sometimes bacterial. As I understand you have started your medicines 3 days back. Give it some time . The more important matter is the compensation of water loss from loose motions. Is his motions contain large quantity of water??? Does he have fever?? What is his current weight??

Continue with regular feeds and it will help the baby. And get a electral readymade ors available in the market and give him sips of it if the water content is high.
