Hi. I've a slander and thin built. I'm usually lethargic (even after 12hrs of sleep) and am suffering from hair loss since arnd 5-6 years. I've been told that my body can't process proteins and this is likely to be a Liver ailment. Thoughts on that? And if it's true, how much damage would've been done already? Cure?

These symptoms are very generic and not specific for liver disease. If you would like to exclude liver disease, a Liver Function Test and Ultrasonography of the abdomen might be helpful. Thanks Dr. Ravi Mohanka
