Lipoma on butt

I have a lemon size lump/ lipoma/ tumour on my left butt. It is soft not painful growing since 10 yrs . What is it . I have shown to one doctor he said it is lipoma need be removed after biopsy

Dear, Lipoma is usually harmless or in medical terms,benign. Removal of lipoma is usually due to cosmetic reasons,or rarely disfiguration. At your age I dont think you should go for removal of the lipoma as the location is hidden and it might get submerged with the surrounding fat as you grow up.
