Clinical history: Block and slide for opinion with attached histopathology report from Konnect diagnostics Specimen: 1 H&E stained slide labelled as 688/25 and one block labelled as 688/25 for second opinion Gross description: Received a block labelled as H/688/2025 and 1 H&E stained slide labelled as 688/2025 Senses ENT speciality hospital for second opinion Microscopy: The section studied shows a tissue line by stratified squamous epithelium showing focal hyperkeratos hypergranulosis with no epithelial atypia /dysplasia. Subepithelium shows fibrocollagenous tissue wit chronic inflammatory infiltrates and small blood vessels. Negative for malignancy Impression: Features are suggestive of epithelial hyperplasia (leucoplakia). Comment: Advised clinical correlation and follow-up.
