Can u tell me my llens power if my spectacular power is -8 and -9 ?.will it be 1 power lesser than the spect power?

Hello Ma'am..Yes for spectacles power of -8.00 D Sph the contact lenses power will be -7.00 D and for spectacles power of -9.00 D Sph the contact lenses power will be -8.00 D.
