Leg paw unconscious

Since last few days I noticed some portion of my left leg paw is having some issue. Sometimes it feels nothing and becomes unconscious. Even if I hit it with hammer or needel, it won't feel anything and right after sometime it gets back normal. What could be the problem? Sorry for not describing in a proper medical terms.
