I had femur fracture 2 moths ago sorgery was done rod was placed can i remove it after one year or how much time will take to remove the rod from leg

Hello.... the rod is removed generally after 1 year...I don't think you need to worry about it now as its been only 2 months of operation your orthopaedician will tell you about the removal of it..... for further details I would like to know what exact procedure was done so that I can tell  exactly...thank you
