Left side pain @ 5 weeks

I have mild left side abdomen pain, back pain & pain around pelvic area. I am 5 weeks along. Its sometimes both sides n sometimes only @ left side. Its not constant , comes & goes. My HCG have double after 48 hours. Is the pain normal?

Hope am dating ultrasound has been done to confirm the duration and location of pregnancy.if not please do it
