Left nipple itchy for years

My left nipple has been itchy for more than 4 years. The itching is not constant. It comes for few days and then goes. I can't find any difference in the appearance of the two breasts/nipples. There are no rashes or redness present. Can't find any lump and there is no discharge. But the itching is too disturbing.
