Left index finger movement restricted

I had a stone injury on my left hand index finger in childhood. Since then, it is not bending fully like my right hand index finger (images attached). There is no pain, but movement is restricted. What is this condition called? Can it be improved with exercises or does it need treatment? Thank you.

If not a bony injury, the stiffness can be due to a tendon cause Needs a check up!

Health Tips
Do not go for local bone setters for a manipulation That'll only worsen the stiffness n mobility

It is post-traumatic finger stiffness. Exercises alone usually won’t fully correct this.surgical release is required.
