Methylphenidate is useful only in case of ADHD being the primary cause. There is no pharmacological treatment for Specific Learning Disorders. The problem is that many people include ADHD also in learning Disorders, but the management part is completely different. You should preferrably consult a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
